post-thanksgiving-cop-out

Hey everyone, hope you had a lovely holiday. For those of you who do not live in the US, sorry you get a crappy old comic after a random November Thursday. This comic was part of a series I’d like to continue called, “Heartwarming Tales that Freak Kids Out.”

I had heard the story above many times growing up, and it was only recently I thought, “Man, that’s messed up.” but such is the Bible. We forget that the centerpiece of the New Testament involves the torture and execution of man, and the symbol of the religion is his execution device. Pretty gruesome stuff if you think about it. I’ll leave you with a tweet from skeptical singer/songwriter/virtuoso George Hrab, tweeted,

“The folks that complain about violence & obscenity in movies and TV often have a lil’ naked guy nailed to piece of wood around their neck.”

Speaking of George: he has a big show coming up, one close to my heart for many reasons. Held next February 18th, it’s aptly named the 21812 Show, a palindrome. I love palindromes.  I was also asked by Geo and Ms. Information to design a limited edition poster for the event. They were so psyched about how it came out, that I will be there signing copies (along with the rest of the orchestra and more). They’re going to be very limited, so I advise you buy tickets soon.

At the moment, I cannot show the poster, but I will as soon as I can.  In the meantime, I hope to see you all at the show. Details as they arrive! Cheers!
