Just a quick one for you all. Related to Friday’s comic. Enjoy!

Before I renamed it Lung Monkey, I had originally called it Ape Lung. Is it just me, or does “apelung” look like a legitimate German word?

  Sorry – apes ARE monkeys, just as we are – it’s a nested hierarchy…

    Pretty sure that graph is wrong. Apes and monkeys are separate families of primates. They don’t all nest so nicely as your pretty picture assumes. Here’s a more accurate one:

    That is definitely wrong:
    
    Primates can basically be broken down into Lemurs/Lorises, New World Monkeys, Old World Monkeys, and Apes. The major difference between Monkeys and Apes is the lack of a tail.
