Just to be 100% clear. This was an April Fools joke. Phrenology is still bunkum -ed
This is ironic right? I fail to see how a bump on the skull would correlate to a personality trait.
Just the sort of comment I’d expect from someone with the skull contours of a mendicant.
P.S. Yes, it is a joke. Or more accurately, it used to be taken seriously, but is NOW a joke.
I think you might want to double check your calendar, then get in your TARDIS and post this yesterday.
My name is Alejandro Rueda. This is interesting. I’m curious to know who you are.
Is this why when i bang my head and get a bump, i feel a bit stupid?
Unfortunately I live in France, where it’s very common for companies to insist on a handwritten letter for job applications, so that they can submit it to a graphologist!!
I’m going to start a clinic for Corrective Phrenology. I have a hammer, and I’m not afraid to use it!
Pratchett called it retrophrenology.
I was under the impression that it was thrown out because it was found to just be justified racism. Also if this is true does that mean the pillow for my newborn contoured to prevent “Flat Head Syndrome” is actually fucking with her brain? If so for better or worse?
You are aware it’s the SECOND of April, right? The annoying “fake news stories” that we have to deal with are bad enough without them seeping to the next day on the calendar.
I love it! Had me going for a couple of seconds.
I especially enjoyed “Association for Phrenological Research in Literature (and its French chapter, Fraternité d’Observation Occipitale et de la Littérature)”
Man. That is so subtle. I read this yesterday and didn’t get the joke until just now!
I just overdosed on sarcasm.
